Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (MLSE) has recruited Astral Media Outdoor to help get basketball fans excited about the Toronto Raptors’ upcoming season, their 15th in the National Basketball Association!
Torontonians won’t be able to miss larger-than-life images of superstar players Andrea Bargnani and Chris Bosh decked out on selected Transit Shelter faces in the city’s downtown core. One high profile location in particular, is at the intersection of Front St. and Bay St., a mere 3-point shot away from the Raptors’ home arena, the Air Canada Centre.
Besides the action shots of Bosh and Bargnani, the shelter roofs have been tinted in the team’s colours, and court-like floor graphics and virtual seats inside make people believe they’re sitting courtside at a Raptor game instead of waiting for a bus.
The Raptors’ first home game is Wednesday, October 28 against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
