Dazzling Results Expected From the Carte Blanche for Creatives Contest

Montréal, March 21, 2010 – Following the impressive response from advertising agency creatives last year, Astral Out-of-Home is pleased to announce the return of Carte Blanche for Creatives.

The second edition of the contest gives creatives what they've always wanted – the freedom to create a message without a briefing and explore the limits of their creativity and imagination. The contest invites creatives to return to the very foundation of advertising creativity to design a unique advertising concept for a customer of their choice using an image and few words, if any, intended for a vertical poster in the Montréal market or a transit shelter in the Toronto market.

Starting today and running until April 29, 2011, creatives – and only creatives – can register on www.carteblancheforcreatives.ca. With their free registration, they will receive details on the contest and how to submit their original creations or can simply comment, discuss and share their thoughts on the submitted entries. In addition, anyone with an interest in the world of advertising can comment on and discuss the submitted pieces on the contest’s Facebook page. Registrants who submit an original piece have the chance to win two great prizes. The winners will have their creative promoted in an advertising campaign in the Montréal or Toronto market and they will enjoy a trip for two to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity!

Carte Blanche for Creatives is the first contest for creatives, by creatives where anything goes. It breaks out of the paradigm and puts the power in the hands of the creative community, giving it the freedom to openly choose the winner.
