The creative community has expressed itself. Friday, Carte Blanche for Creatives announced the contest’s 10 finalists. The ads are posted online at carteblancheforcreatives.ca. Thank you for your participation and making this a highly contested competition. The quality of the work is outstanding.
Carte Blanche is being followed on Facebook by more than 300 individuals from the advertising industry while over 150 creatives have submitted to the contest. The carteblancheforcreatives.ca website has been visited by more than 11 000 users and will, no doubt, continue to attract new visitors with the unveiling of the finalists and ultimately the winners in Toronto and Montreal. The winning ads will be featured in an outdoor campaign, while each winner will receive a trip for two to the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival.
The contest now enters the second period of debate and deliberation. The Grand Prize winners will be announced at an exclusive invitation only Carte Blanche event on May 31st in Montreal, where finalists and other industry notables will be brought together.
So, please continue to visit the carteblancheforcreatives.ca website until Friday May 14th to discuss your favourite ads, and then from May 15 to May 19 to vote for the Grand Prize winner for your city. Only registered creatives are allowed to vote, and each person is only allowed one vote. You can only vote where you are registered, either in Toronto or in Montreal. Please note that the authors of the creative works remain unidentified until the unveiling of the Grand Prize winners.
